ICYMI…Florida Politics: New Poll Shows Trump-Backed Donalds Dominating in Florida Governor’s Republican Primary

New polling shows Donalds with massive double-digit lead over potential Republican challengers.

NAPLES, FL – Today, a new poll was released showing Trump-endorsed conservative Byron Donalds continuing to hold a commanding lead in the Republican primary for Florida Governor. Donalds leads by more than 35 points against potential Republican candidates Jay Collins and Paul Renner: 39% Donalds – 4% Collins – 3% Renner.

On the informed ballot, Donalds’ lead grew to 40 points in a head-to-head matchup against Collins, 52% – 12%. The poll also shows Donalds with a decisive lead in a potential matchup against Casey DeSantis, with Donalds garnering more than 47% of the vote to DeSantis’ 21%. On the informed ballot tests, voters were told Donalds was endorsed by President Trump and his opponent was endorsed by Governor DeSantis.

This new polling follows Donalds receiving a slew of endorsements, including Congressmen Jimmy Patronis and Neal Dunn, and 75% of the Florida House Republican Caucus just this week alone. Additionally, Donalds has received the endorsements of fifteen top Florida Sheriffs, seventeen members of Florida’s congressional Delegation, U.S. House Leadership, and leading Florida and national conservatives.

Polling showing Donalds dominating any potential Republican challengers, high-profile endorsements, and a monster Q3 fundraising haul make Trump-endorsed Byron Donalds the clear choice for Governor with Florida voters.

“Today’s poll reflects the enthusiasm our campaign receives on the ground in every corner of the state – Republican voters overwhelmingly support Byron Donalds for Governor because he is the proven conservative fighter endorsed by President Trump.”  – Ryan Smith, Chief Strategist for the Byron Donalds for Governor Campaign

Byron Donalds continues to dominate Jay Collins, Paul Renner in GOP Primary Poll

A new St. Pete Polls survey shows Donalds would win more than 39% of the vote in a Republican Primary against Lt. Gov. Jay Collins, who has less than 4% support, and former House Speaker Paul Renner, who shows up with less than 3%.

The pollsters also tested Donalds’ performance if he were in a head-to-head against only Collins. In such a race, Donalds would win more than 52% of the vote to Collins’ nearly 12%.

If Donalds faced another rumored contender, Casey DeSantis, things would be marginally more competitive. But the Congressman still leads a head-to-head Primary with 47% support to the First Lady’s 21%.

In both head-to-head races, pollsters informed voters that Donalds had President Donald Trump’s endorsement, while Collins or Casey DeSantis would likely have the endorsement of Gov. DeSantis.
