Florida’s Premier Business Organization Backs Donalds to Keep Florida’s Economy the Envy of the Nation
The Florida Chamber of Commerce today announced its endorsement of Byron Donalds for Governor of Florida, citing Donalds’ record of fighting for Florida’s business community, his commitment to expanded workforce education and opportunities, and his vision for keeping Florida the most business-friendly state in America.
The Florida Chamber of Commerce is the state’s largest business advocacy organization, representing more than 139,000 businesses and the interests of more than 3 million Floridians employed in the private sector.
“Florida is changing. Florida’s economy and population continue to grow, and in order to keep Florida moving into the next eight years with as much positive growth as the last eight, voters must get to the polls and elect leaders like Byron Donalds,” said Florida Chamber President and CEO Mark Wilson. “Congressman Donalds has spent his career standing up for Florida’s job creators, small businesses and workers and will fight to enact policies that allow for more high-wage jobs, improve Florida’s education system, and ensure Florida remains the top destination for businesses, families and opportunity. The number one action Floridians can take to help the outcome of this election is to vote, because nothing less than Florida’s future is at stake.”
As the only candidate in the race who has worked in the private sector, Donalds understands first-hand what Florida’s job creators need to be successful. He has championed a pro-growth agenda centered on his “Florida Means Business” permitting reform platform, which would dramatically cut government red tape slowing private investment and job creation across the state.
Donalds is also a consistent advocate for keeping taxes low, expanding Florida’s workforce pipeline, and protecting the regulatory environment that has made Florida the fastest-growing state in the nation.
“I’m honored to receive the endorsement of Florida’s largest and most influential business advocacy organization, the Florida Chamber of Commerce,” said Byron Donalds. “I’m committed to making life more affordable by keeping taxes low, reducing burdensome regulations and litigation, and diversifying our economy. As Governor, I look forward to working again with the Florida Chamber to create more high-paying jobs for Floridians and further Florida’s reputation as the best state in the country for business.”
In addition to the Florida Chamber, Donalds is endorsed by the Associated Industries of Florida, the Florida Farm Bureau FarmPAC, Associated Builders and Contractors of Florida, Club for Growth PAC, President Donald Trump, Charlie Kirk, Donald Trump Jr., Elon Musk, the majority of Florida Sheriffs, more than 75% of Florida House Republicans, and other leading national conservatives.
