The Florida Retail Federation (FRF), the statewide trade association representing Florida’s retail industry, today announced its endorsement of Congressman Byron Donalds for Governor.
In announcing its endorsement, Florida Retail Federation leaders pointed to Donalds’ proven record of advancing pro-growth policies, reducing government overreach and standing up for Florida’s business community.
“Byron Donalds understands what it takes to maintain Florida’s reputation as the most business-friendly state in the nation,” said Scott Shalley, president and CEO of the Florida Retail Federation. “From his time in the Florida Legislature to the U.S. Congress, he has a strong track record of reducing government overreach, cutting taxes and advancing policies that support job creation. We are proud to stand with Byron Donalds, the next governor of the great state of Florida.”
Donalds said the endorsement reflects a shared commitment to protecting Florida’s economic success and supporting the businesses that power communities across the state.

Florida’s retail industry is one of the state’s largest economic engines, supporting nearly four million jobs, paying more than $94 billion in annual wages and contributing more than $64 billion in sales tax revenue each year. The endorsement reflects FRF’s confidence that Donalds is the right leader to strengthen Florida’s economy and preserve its reputation as the best place in America to live, work and do business.
