Senator Don Gaetz, Senator Tom Wright, Senator Danny Burgess, and State Representative Brad Yeager today announced their endorsements of Byron Donalds for Governor, adding to the campaign’s growing support from conservative leaders across the state.
Donalds welcomed the support from the legislators spanning every corner of the state.

The endorsements from Burgess, Gaetz, Yeager, and Wright further reinforce the overwhelming support Donalds continues to earn from conservative leaders across Florida, including the entire Florida Cabinet, incoming Florida House Speaker and Senate President, and Senators Ashley Moody and Rick Scott.
Donalds’ growing support from Florida’s conservative leaders mirrors his growing support from voters statewide. New polling from an independent pollster who has historically worked for Governor DeSantis shows Donalds at 48%, while the rest of the field continues fighting to crawl out of single digits. As the polling memo puts it, Donalds is “for all practical purposes, the Republican nominee for Governor.”
