ICYMI: New Poll Shows Trump-Backed Donalds with a Double-Digit Lead Over Potential Democrat Challengers

New polling shows Donalds maintaining a wide margin lead in head-to-head match ups against potential Democrat candidates.

NAPLES, FL – Today, a new University of North Florida poll was released showing Trump-endorsed Byron Donalds maintaining a commanding lead against potential Democrat candidates in the race for Florida Governor. Donalds leads by double digits against either potential Democrat candidate: 45% Byron Donalds – 34% David Jolly and 45% Byron Donalds – 33% Jerry Demings.

This new poll comes on the heels of a recent poll showing Donalds dominating the Florida Republican primary for Governor—holding a more than 35% lead over Jay Collins and Paul Renner.

Donalds also amassed major endorsements this month including former Florida CFO Congressman Jimmy Patronis and Congressman Neal Dunn, and 75% of the Florida House Republican Caucus. Donalds had previously been endorsed by fifteen top Florida sheriffs, seventeen  members of Florida’s congressional delegation, U.S. House Leadership, and leading Florida and national conservatives.

Donalds’ dominating lead in polling against all potential challengers and prominent endorsements mirror his unmatched fundraising numbers.

“Today’s poll reinforces the momentum Trump-endorsed Byron Donalds has carried since the start of our campaign. Floridians are ready to take our state to the next level with Donalds’ principled, conservative leadership.”  – Ryan Smith, Chief Strategist for the Byron Donalds for Governor Campaign
