As the House votes today on the SAVE America Act, voters deserve to know where David Jolly and Jerry Demings stand on election integrity.
Byron Donalds has been clear: ONLY U.S. citizens should vote in U.S. elections.
The SAVE America Act advances that principle by requiring citizenship verification and reinforcing basic, commonsense safeguards supported by the vast majority of Americans.
Donalds released the following statement regarding election integrity in Florida and across the United States:
“Later today, I will proudly cast my vote for the SAVE America Act to require photo ID and ensure that only U.S. citizens participate in our elections. I commend the Florida Legislature for proposing similar commonsense measures to prevent illegal voter registration in our state.
I have always been clear on my support for election integrity. Democrats have not. I have a few simple questions for David Jolly and Jerry Demings to clear things up: Should photo ID be required to vote? Should illegals be barred from our elections?
Florida voters deserve clear, direct answers. As Governor, I will always fight to protect the integrity of our elections. David Jolly and Jerry Demings will not.”
