Dynamic leader with deep Florida ties to manage the campaign’s grassroots, communications, and operations.
NAPLES, FL – Chris Hudson, who has worked in Florida politics for nearly two decades, has been named Campaign Manager for the Byron Donalds for Governor campaign. Hudson most recently served as a Senior Advisor to Donalds.
Hudson came to Byron Donalds’ political team from direct mail company, Presstige Printing, and Ace Political, where he serves as Vice President of Political Strategy.
Prior to that, Hudson served prominent conservative grassroots advocacy group, Americans for Prosperity, where he built lasting coalitions, drove policy priorities across 36 states, and oversaw the building of AFP’s permanent grassroots infrastructure spanning from the Panhandle to the Florida Keys.

Hudson began his career in Republican politics as a legislative staffer in the Florida Senate. He also served as Central Florida Director for the House Majority and as campaign manager for former Speaker Dean Cannon. Hudson directed more than 20 legislative campaigns along the I-4 Corridor in this role. Hudson also worked for Naples-based think tank Foundation for Government Accountability, which is focused on promoting free-market policies intended to decrease government dependency.
