Byron Donalds, the Trump-endorsed conservative candidate for Florida Governor, received the endorsement of two more sheriffs:
- Okaloosa County Sheriff Eric Aden
- Madison County Sheriff David Harper
Yesterday, Byron secured the support of Calhoun County Sheriff Michael Bryant, Franklin County Sheriff AJ Smith, Jefferson County Sheriff Mac McNeill, and Liberty County Sheriff Dusty Arnold. Just last week, Byron received the endorsements of Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd and Seminole County Sheriff Dennis Lemma.
Today’s announcement brings Donalds’ total sheriff endorsements to 35, constituting support from a majority of the state’s sheriffs. Sheriffs Aden and Harper join President Trump, 33 other top Florida sheriffs, Elon Musk, U.S. House Leadership, 17 members of Florida’s congressional delegation, 75% of the Republican caucus in the Florida House, and other leading national conservatives in endorsing Byron for Governor.
“The majority of Florida’s sheriffs endorse Byron Donalds because he is the law and order candidate for governor. As Governor, Byron Donalds will partner with President Trump and law enforcement to make Florida the safest state in America,” said Ryan Smith, Chief Strategist for the Byron Donalds Campaign.
These endorsements follow Byron’s monster Q4 fundraising haul, high-profile endorsements, and polling showing him crushing Republican primary opponents and leading by wide margins against Democrat opponents. This shows Byron’s unmatched momentum as he dominates in the race for Florida Governor.
