Bay County Sheriff Tommy Ford joined the majority of Florida Sheriffs in endorsing Byron Donalds for Florida Governor. Ford is the 38th Sheriff to back Trump-endorsed Donalds’ campaign.

In addition to the majority of Florida Sheriffs, Donalds has also been endorsed by President Trump, Charlie Kirk, Elon Musk, 17 members of Florida’s Congressional delegation, U.S. House Leadership, 75% of the Republican caucus in the Florida House, and other leading national conservatives.
Donalds also raked in a record $22 million in the first quarter of 2026 and is dominating every Republican and Democrat in the race for Florida governor.
